Not getting engagement? Here’s why.

If your posts aren’t getting engagement or you get 2 likes and comments like, “Great post! Thanks for sharing!” That means your content is providing zero value and isn’t landing with your audience.

The good news is, you can fix it. Ready?

If you’re getting zero engagement, it usually means these your content is missing these two things:

  1. You’re not showing your personality

  2. You’re not showing people why they should trust you

When you do both of these things, you create content that’s worth coming back for. People feel like they know, like and trust you.

But what part of your personality do you show? That’s the thing most people get wrong. It’s not about being weird just to get attention. It’s about showing who you are as a person. This can be done by talking about your lived experience, which brings me to showing why people should trust you.

Trust comes from experience. So when you talk about things like, “5 ways to choose a wholesale partner” you’re not sharing anything that someone can find on AI. You’re just sharing information anyone else can share.

But if you share a story about how you choose the wrong wholesale partner, what happened and how that experience help you learn how to choose the right wholesale partner? Then you’ve got some content even AI can’t copy. Because no one else has your experience or point of view. No one.

And when you share from that lens, people want to know more. They’ll say things like, “Oh no! That’s such a great reminder because I was just about to choose a wholesale partner and I’m so glad I saw this!” Or “This reminds me of the time when I chose the wrong wholesale partner and they caused us so much money and time!”

Now instead of just sharing tips, you’ve positioned yourself as the expert that people trust and remember.

And that’s what we do in Find Your Weird. I help you find the stories you’re not sharing so that you become the expert in your field.
